Have done both puppy school and reliable recall training with my cocker spaniel and about to start the obedience course. Anniina is so knowledgeable and explains everything thoroughly so you understand the theory behind the training. The sessions are easy and fun, with immediate results. You leave feeling confident and equipped with the right way to continue the training for results. We have done the Teenage dog class and loved Anniina’s demeanour so much we are going back for her obedience course. Anniina just has a way with dogs, and teaches in ways that are so easy to understand. She is professional and personable and you can tell she really loves (and is so good at) what she does. Eazy Training classes for re-active dogs has been amazing for our 9 month miniature schnauzer puppy. Our Puppy School in Botany Includes:

1st Class: Basic Obedience
In the first class, we’ll focus on the basics of training your puppy. Your puppy will learn commands such as sit, down, stay, come, and how to respond to a vocal training marker.

2nd Class: Socialization
The second class is all about understanding your puppy’s body language and the importance of early socialisation to avoid behavioural issues. Your puppy will practice place training, exposure to different sounds, and learn positive handling techniques.

3rd Class: Manners
This class will teach you how to establish boundaries and encourage polite behaviour. We’ll focus on impulse control, greeting people without jumping, and practising the “leave it” command. You’ll also receive tips on common puppy issues such as toilet training, chewing, puppy biting, and destructive behaviours.

4th Class: Mental Stimulation

Yes, in fact the most important socialisation period for dogs is 8-12 weeks of age, this is ideal for puppy school as well. Studies show no increased health risks in puppy schools and plenty of benefits. Puppy schools should always be run in private locations, not in public outdoors spaces. All our locations are safe and cleaned with F10 which vets use as well.
