Join My Puppy Class in Marrickville and Learn Basics of Dog Training – And a Lot More!
My Puppy Class in Marrickville is focused on raising a balanced adult dog who’s a pleasure to be around. Who doesn’t want a dog you can take to cafes, dog parks and to your friend’s place without having to feel embarrassed? But it’s not as easy as it sounds. You need to focus on the right things from day one to get there. And that’s what I can help you with in my puppy schools in Sydney.
Life’s not all fun & games
The foundation of teaching a dog to calm down is to ensure they learn that not every situation is for them to go crazy about. For example, sometimes there might be dogs around the puppy isn’t allowed to greet. And sometimes there are situations full of distractions but your puppy still needs to focus on you. This is what we focus and practise in my puppy class in Marrickville and Leichhardt. It doesn’t mean that the puppies don’t get to play – they do – but at the end of the class, after having focused on school first.
Management is the key!
Puppies learn all the time, whether we are training them or not. That’s why management is the most important thing in training puppies. Avoid situations where you puppy would learn the wrong thing. Create situations where the puppy can learn the right thing. It’s that simple!
