My Puppy Class in Marrickville is a fun and educational 4 week puppy training course. Your new family member will learn to socialise and practise new obedience skills in a positive way with other puppies and owners.

Suitable for puppies age 8-20 weeks

In this Marrickville Puppy Class your puppy will learn:

• Basic obedience and polite manners
• Socialisation with other dogs, people and different objects like skateboard, vacuum cleaner etc.

• Fun tricks and games

You will learn:

• How to better raise and train your puppy through understanding how they experience the world around them.

1st Lesson: Manners

First class focuses on how to train a dog. Owners will learn and practise the 3 steps needed for any dog training. Sit, Down, Stay and Come included in the first lesson.

2nd Lesson: Positive Socialisation

In the second class we will learn about dogs’ body language and how to prevent behavioural issues in the future.

3rd Lesson: Polite Manners

Third class is focused on manners.

4th Lesson: Games and Tricks

Fourth class will teach us the importance of mental exercise in order to prevent boredom based issues.

Puppies learn all the time: The most critical time for your puppy’s learning is between 8-12 weeks.

This is the sensitive time period puppies are most open to new things and experiences. That’s why they need to experience many different positive situations with people, other dogs and environments to become a confident adult. Therefore especially early life experiences influence how your puppy will communicate, play and learn as they develop into an adult dog.
