A Rally Obedience course is set out with numbered stations including a start and finish.

Dogs work in the “Heel” position between the stations. At the Novice level, dogs negotiate a course having between 10 and 15 signs and work on a lead.

In this Rally Obedience Class, you and your dog will follow a course and at each station complete a depicted exercise such as heeling, weaving through cones, 360° turns, dropping down or going over a jump. And these are just a few of over fifty different Rally O exercises; courses usually have a minimum of fifteen stations.
