I have chosen all my trainers carefully, after assessing, supervising and training them to carry on the same high-quality training I offer myself. After the training session, you will receive a personalised training plan with homework to follow for the next few weeks. If you Book several training sessions, each week I’ll teach you how to better understand and help your dog and take you through the training step by step.
The number of training sessions depends on the training goal, issue and your own commitment. But I’m happy to tell you that in most cases only one training session with us is needed! If your dog suffers from anxiety or has more serious behavioural issues, more than one training sessions are needed. When you purchase a training package I will check the progress of your training weekly with follow up meetings, adding the difficulty of the training step by step.

All dogs need boundaries. Dogs are situational learners and learn very quickly if they get things for free. A dog who doesn’t have to work for anything, does what he wants. And that’s when we start to lose control. Gaining control and improving a dog’s behaviours means that we need to change our behaviour as well. This is what I can help you with. Positive Dog Training in Sydney
We use a positive dog training method called ‘positive reinforcement’.
This means using rewards such as treats, cuddles, toys, attention, play etc. to motivate dogs to obey. But it doesn’t mean bribing your dog with treats. Every treat needs to be earned. I’ll teach you how to create a working mental state, so that your dog works for you to get the reward, not the other way around! Positive dog training can be firm and gentle at the same time, it doesn’t mean creating a dog who only obeys if treats are around. I’ve always used positive training with my own dogs and I rarely use treats with them. When you do it right, you’ll have a dog who obeys you because they want to!
Finding a good dog trainer in Sydney has never been more difficult than it is today. My experience is that most of the issues dogs have are caused by our lack of understanding regarding dog behaviour. Something small can easily become a big issue over time.
