Dog Obedience Training at Home – Start Right with Your Dog
Dog Obedience Training at Home – Eazy Dog Training Online Dog Training Courses
A lot of the Sydney Dog Training Clubs aren’t operating at the moment and that can be a challenge for new dog owners. Online dog training classes are a great option at the moment, I’m doing a rally-o course myself at the moment! That way you can train when it suits you and you don’t have to skip crucial training due to lack of face-to-face classes. However, Eazy Dog Training classes are still running, both online and face-to-face!
Build a Solid Foundation First – At Home!
Your own home is the easiest training set up for your dog, so start there! You can build a solid foundation first at home with minimum distractions around.
Add Difficulty Gradually
Start adding distractions one by one when your dog is doing well with the basics. Your dog will tell you if you have moved too fast! If the dog seems distracted and loses focus, go back a training step!
Go Online!
I prefer face-to-face classes myself but there are great ones for online training as well. For agility, One Mind Dogs is by far the most comprehensive and the best one if you ask me!
