How to Start Agility Training at Home?

Agility training is a lot of fun – but it also takes some basic skills. Useful skills before starting agility are
- reliable stay command
- ability to focus on the owner
- reliable recall
- ability to follow the owner on both left and right side
One of the most important things in agility is handling. This means guiding your dog through an obstacle course. This takes some practise from both of you and your dog. Your dog needs to learn to read your body language and you need to learn to focus both on your dog and the course – which isn’t always easy!
Here’s a video of how to start teaching the basics at home!
