Agility Classes in Mascot! – We Are Moving!
As you might know already, Eazy Dog Training has been running classes in Sydney Park for the last few years. Now it’s time for a change! Our beginners agility classes will be moved to a private location in Mascot!
This will ensure a nicer training environment with less distractions around. It also allows me to order bigger equipment that will be safe to use in this private location such as a dog walk! Yay! I haven’t been able to get one before due to safety reasons and now I can finally do it. This also offers opportunities for special training agility workshops such as contact training, distance handling etc. and the course can be rented for your own use as well!
The next beginners’ agility classes in Mascot will start mid January next year, book in early here!
Eazy Dog Training Dog Agility training includes
- Obstacle introduction
- Safe way of performing agility contact equipment
- Hurdles, tyre jump, tunnels, A-frame
- Performing obstacle courses
- Holding position exercises
- Improving your dog’s body awareness
- Learning agility handling skills
If your dog’s under 9 months old the training will focus on obstackle introduction and handling techniques.
There are many things that you can practise without putting pressure on your dog’s growing bones and joints. Most importantly, dog agility training is all about learning to work together and you don’t need any high jumps for that.
Note! The class is not suitable for anxious or reactive dogs.
