Our puppy preschools are for pups 8-16 weeks of age and they must have had at least the first vaccination and be on a vaccination program.

Did you know that puppies go through a crucial socialisation period within the first 4 months?  Studies have proven that if a puppy isn’t socialised before 16 weeks of age they might never be completely comfortable with new experiences, people, other animals etc. This is a survival instinct inherited from wolves. All thge things pups meet in a positive way before 16 weeks of age become normal and acceptable and therefore improves a dog’s confidence. After 16 weeks of age, they change and aren’t as adaptable to new situations anymore.

Did You Know that 8-12 Weeks Is the Best Time for Puppy School?

A puppy’s key, and the most important, developmental period ends at around 12 weeks of age. That’s why the first 12 weeks are the most important weeks for socialization too. If you want to raise a confident, social, balanced and friendly dog, this is the best time for puppy preschool. But don’t worry if your pup is older, the 16 weeks of age limit still applies for socialisation!
