Did you know that dogs were bred to do many amazing things? We have hard working working dogs that can be used for pretty much anything! Herding, searching, running, detecting, swimming, jumping, fetching, agility, showing, obedience…The list of things you can do – and even compete in- is very long! And you don’t need to own a kelpie or border collie, all breeds have qualities that can be harnessed to do amazing things. So this year I challenge you to try something new with your dog! Book an obedience class or try out agility to see how amazing dogs can be!
And remember, if you do have a hard working breed such as kelpie, koolie, border collie, cattle dog etc. they need a job to do. If you don’t provide one, they will come up with one. And it might be something you don’t like.
